GE Vivid E9 XDClear

Refurbished

Call to configure, special pricing available 317-759-9210

  • Expanding on the success of the bestselling GE Vivid 7 Dimension ultrasound, the refurbished GE Vivid E9 began a new era of advanced 4D cardiovascular imaging with a new concentration on ergonomics and efficiency.

The Vivid E9 ultrasound machine with XDClear features single crystal probe technology, which is one of the more profound ultrasound imaging technologies in recent years. Single crystal probes greatly improve image quality and penetration, with more uniform clarity throughout the image.

The GE Vivid E9 replaced the GE Vivid 7 ultrasound and was succeeded by the GE Vivid E90 and GE Vivid E95 cardiovascular ultrasound machines.

With a longstanding tradition of excellent imaging, the Vivid series of ultrasounds continues to impress.

  • Categories: Abdominal, Breast, Cardiac, Fetal, GE, General Imaging, Intraoperative, Musculoskeletal, Neonatal, OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Radiology, Small Parts, Superficial, TCD, TEE, Ultrasound Systems, Vascular, Venous

In addition to the XMatrix single-crystal probe technology, the Vivid E9 added improved processing power, better ergonomics, and improved workflow.

With 4D cardiac imaging becoming more prevalent, the E9’s new architecture allows for higher frame rates and better image quality for its 4D cardiology.  The refurbished Vivid E9 expands upon its 4D technology with the following technologies:

  • 4D Auto LVQ: a mesh-based surface-tracking model that delivers more reproducible results
  • 4D LV Mass adds an epicardial border to the mesh-based surface-tracking model
  • 4D Strain calculates regional strain values for enhanced visual tracking assessment
  • 4D Views with “one-touch” options to view images such as 4-chamber, 2-chamber, APLAX, mitral valve, septum and aortic valve

Year Built

The GE Vivid E9 built on an industry leading platform, well renowned and respected in the cardiovascular imaging community. The improved processing architecture and ergonomics were welcome upgrades as the older platform became… well… old and dated.

We have always been impressed with GE’s innovation and determination to release quality cardiac machines with the Vivid machine. Additionally, the prices has always been more than competitive. As a refurbished cardiovascular ultrasound machine, we find the Vivid E9 to be a tremendous bargain and a recommended ultrasound machine.

Obviously newer ultrasound machines provide faster processors and newer technologies, however, for the price of the Vivid E9, it’s hard to beat the value for the performance.
